Where Hope Meets Opportunity
Founded in Ibadan,Tabitha Home has been a beacon of hope for over 11years from caring for over hundreds of lives to engaging dedicated/committed volunteers and donors.
Our mission is simple; empower lives and be positively impactful.
What started as a compassionate response to children in need has grown into a structured organisation, impacting countless lives through education, mentorship, and community support.
Where Hope Meets Opportunity
At Tabitha Home, we believe every child deserves a safe place to dream, grow, and thrive. Founded in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, we are a formal care and transitional home dedicated to orphaned and vulnerable children. More than a shelter, Tabitha Home is a family, a community built on love, care, and opportunity.
Our Vision
To support the development, empowerment, and social integration of needy children, guiding them toward self-reliance and national development.
Our Mission
To provide orphaned and vulnerable children with the tools, opportunities, and support they need to build a desirable life and a sustainable future.
Why We Exist
Because every child deserves a chance to thrive. Because no dream should be cut short by circumstances of birth. Because hope, when nurtured, creates future leaders.
At Tabitha Home, we are building a brighter tomorrow one child at a time.
What We Do
At Tabitha Home Foundation, we bring hope, dignity, and transformation to vulnerable children and families. We provide care that goes beyond survival, building pathways to growth, education, and self-reliance.
At Tabitha Home Foundation we have the following programs and projects:
1. Tabitha Home Residential
2. Community Development Project
3. Family Household Economic Strenghtening
4. Medical Support.
Tabitha Home Residential
At the core of our mission is Tabitha Home — our residential care center where vulnerable children receive holistic support and a chance to thrive. Beyond providing the essentials like food, clothing, and shelter, we offer comprehensive care that includes quality education, skill development, psychosocial support, and life-enriching opportunities. This remains our foremost priority and the solid foundation upon which every other program is built.
Community Development Projects
Our commitment extends beyond the walls of Tabitha Home into the wider community. We carry out initiatives such as:
-
Clean Water Projects – ensuring access to safe drinking water.
-
Community Kids Clubs – creating safe spaces for learning and recreation.
-
Advocacy Projects – addressing critical issues like postpartum depression,
-
Advocacy Programs – student capacity building in public schools and child welfare awareness.
- Scholarship Programs – we support needy children who are not residents of Tabitha Home by providing their educational needs. This includes paying their school fees, providing uniforms and learning materials, ensuring they are well-fed, and offering other forms of essential support.
Family Household Economic Strengthening
We believe in strengthening families to prevent vulnerability. Through this initiative, we support indigent households with food supplies, basic needs, and small-scale economic empowerment so that children can remain in safe, stable homes.
Medical Support
Many vulnerable individuals struggle to access healthcare. Tabitha Home Foundation provides medical assistance and financial support for treatments, ensuring that health challenges do not become barriers to a brighter future.
